Smile Effexor vs. Generic

Anyone have any experience with the following.

I have been using the Effexor medication for some time. Last year
when the prescription was filled, a generic brand was given to me.
I immediately noticed the difference. I disgarded and when back and demaned
the brand Effexor, they followed through and I was back to normal.

I inquired as to how this could happen, and it was explained to me that
the law allows pharamasists to fill the prescrip. with genaric and they are not required to let the customer know.

Has anyone else had experience with
1. Effexor vs. Generic and Genaric not working.
2. With pharmasists fill the prescrip. with genearic and what is your stance on this issue.

I have heard the brand Effexor is getting harder to find. Is that true?
Please any help would be appreciated.
