Default MS Contin

Hey everyone, I just started taking MS Contin for pain and it didn't do a thing for me yesterday, and my pain doctor told me I have to wait for it to work like 24-48 hours. I am just worried about it not working and then I'll suffer all weekend long. I saw weekend now because the Pain Doc office will be closed for Thursday and Friday. I really feel awful, kind of have a headache and feel like I have nothing in my system for pain relief. Ugh, anyone else run into this problem at a 30 mg dose?
