It really burns me how docs and such are so quick to presrcibe pills to kids. I have a son that was a little busy when he started Pre-K, and the teacher said I should put him on prozac! I wanted to tell her to get bent right there. After he started summer camp and then Kindergarten, he is fine and doing well in class. Another school person thought he might have a form of autism! Like they have the knowledge to dx that! Autism is the new ADHD. There are some kids and young people who really do need these drugs, but i think it is too widely given out. We are going to end up with a generation of medicated people who can't do anything.
