This is part of the Ethex recall... I have a list of the items,
on the first page here.

For Iron, this would not be dangerous. But then you won't be getting any new orders until it is fixed...if ever.

The prenatals, may be considering what ingredients are "wrong".
If too high...Vit A is not good for the baby, etc.

This recall is not for consumers, if I recall correctly. It is at store and wholesale level.

It resembles the Schering recall, when irregularities at their plant failed FDA evaluation. They just recall everything!

Yes, if ever. This company is not super large, and does not have
the funds that brand name companies have.

Schering never really recovered well from all its recalls and lost sales of inhalers and sustained release meds.

So "if ever", might apply. At least it will be a long time.

If your anemia is better now, you perhaps might not miss it as much as you think. There is always SlowFE as an alternate.

for example.

Sorry...

Thanks MrsD.

I called the pharmacy and got the remaining 5 refills that I am happy to pay for myself. In the mean time I will need to start looking for a substitite for 5 months from now.

When I pick it up tonight I will ask the pharmacy how many mroe they have and will try to buy the rest with a refill from my doc.

Atleast I have 5 more months.

By the way your new photo in your avatar is beautiful!

Thanks Shelley... that photo is one of my flowers.. gazania daisy. I took it a couple of seasons ago on vacation.
Last year's didn't do well, it was too rainey and cooler.
So I am going to try a new Zinnia..miniature in my pots.
I am starting to feel "Springy" so I changed the winter avatar!

There may not be more of your Repliva if they come 6 to a box.

I am going to have to call the pharmacy about my isosorbide, I don't think I have a KV product, but I have to make sure before I run out soon!

Ferrous fumerate is available as a supplement, and you'd have to take the Vit C separately.

The website has a click here link to the shortages...maybe a timeframe will be posted or you can call them?
The link didn't work for me (Firefox maybe?).
http://www.repliva.com/

I'd contact your insurance before buying more.
You might get your money back from insurance after the 5mos is over so save that receipt. I'd call them too to see if you can be reimbursed. I think you can, but not in advance of the use.
