Question Just a question

I keep getting these emails about the med Seroquel.
Saying its not good to be on it. Well I am on it. Should I be worried about anything?

Shocked Being on Seroquel

I guess it depends what your on it for. For me ... It just helped me sleep. It has been a life saver at times but I am on medication EVERY NIGHT to sleep because of my head injury.

The "problem" that I had with Seroquel was that it worked very well in helping me sleep, but before I crashed in bed, I went down stairs and found EVERYTHING chocolate or sugar related at nearly ate myself into a chocolate blackout!! Yes, the med works but eating sweets like this was absurd! I am not overweight at all, but had I kept this up, I would be 100 pounds overweight in a month!!!!!

This is not too common, but just know it could happen. Other than that issue, the medication worked great.

Hi Joe M thank you replying,
I know I have gained weight. But I don't want to gain anymore weight.
Do you think I should tell my doctor that I don't want to take it anymore?
