Default androgel

Hello all, just some info on Androgel1.62% i have been on it for the past year.I get complete blood work done every 4 months, make sure all levels are normall if their would be any changes the dr would handle accordingly. My t-levels were 218 now 630 and i feel the energy boost,so far so good.Word of advice if ever offered to buy these products without being under a dr care do not waste your money, you can harm yourself without knowing.GOOD LUCK

Hi dspine, welcome.

Glad to hear it's helping you. Do you know about using a surgical glove to apply it? It's not necessary, but helps get more of the medication into your system, because less is washed down the drain.

Thanks. I get similar results from Testim (for whatever reason my insurance covers Testim but not Androgel). Went from ~ 200 to the 600-700 range, better overall energy and improved libido. Been on it about two years, get my T and PSA levels checked every 6 months and prostate check annually.

What Happened: On November 29, 2010, I was walking across the street and was hit by a light rail commuter train. Result was a severe traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures (skull, pelvis, ribs). Total hospital stay was two months, one in ICU followed by an additional month in neuro-rehab. Upon hospital discharge, neurological testing revealed deficits in short term memory, executive functioning, and spatial recognition.

Today: Neuropsychological examination five months post-accident indicated a return to normal cognitive functioning, and I returned to work approximately 6 months after the accident. I am grateful to be alive and am looking forward to enjoying the rest of my life.

The reason is the deals insurance companies work with drug companies for reimbursement/rebates. IOW, your insurance co. probably pays less (net) for Testim than it does for Androgel.
