Hi guys, what's up?
I'm writing to you my story which has similar sympthoms from yours. First I'm describing my current symptoms. Then below some history of threatments and of when I started to feel like this. Current Symptoms: - Penis' skin with the same previous changes: different color, thinner skin appearance and thicker / apparent veins, nerves more apparent. The nerve of the underside of the penis, it seems more salient and "hard" when the penis is erect. - It seems like there's a division in the penis - In one part is normal color and appearance and the rest is not. - Heavy penis sensation, always pointing downwards and weighing down. - Areas where previously felt itchy and where I used the pastes, are those that sensitivity is lost. I can't feel the itching in these areas since I lost sensitivity. - Almost total lack of sensitivity in the penis body at the topside. The glans has almost no sensitivity. Underside of the penis with greater sensitivity, but not 100% normal. - Besides the penis, I feel that I lost sensitivity of the innermost part of the buttocks or **** (feel that control how to eliminate gas / fart has changed, for example, is difficult to explain). - Loss of erection upon waking up accompanied by urination urge. I have now no erection in the morning when I wake up and the urge to urinate is non-existent or very mild. - Urinating: With the erect penis, must make great efforts to urinate. With the soft penis, there is not the same sensitivity and control. Penis always down. - Erection: Occurs but needs greater stimulation than before to occur. In closing the stimulation, the erection ends much faster than before. - Ejaculation: It happens, but without the same pleasure. When it comes out of the penis, it seems that comes "through the penis" with greater difficulty and not as much pressure as before. - When I force the muscles of this area, like if I was going to urinate for example, I can't feel or control the penis. - Pain in the lower back, especially on the right. - In the past weeks, I started to feel tingling sensation on the right foot. Rarely, pain on the sole right to get up and walk after sitting or lying down. - Pain when you press with your fingers a portion of the right leg muscles on the lateral aspect of the buttock. - No sexual relations since end of 2014, when the symptoms in the penis started. In a relation with girlfriend since 2012 and she has no similar symptoms. History of Symptoms: - Since 2011: Itching in the groin area, between thighs and scrotum, also inside the buttocks and between scrotum and buttocks. I never did any treatment related to this. I'm not sure what could have caused this. - September 2014: Itching in the penis body with a white spot circle - From September 2014 until March 2015: 1. Used Canesten paste in penis, inside the buttocks and I took water bath vinegar in the penis only. Vinegar helped to "dry" the white spot and it started to become red and then to come back to normal color of skin. 2. Continued to use for a few more months in penis, inside the buttocks and I took water bath vinegar in the penis only, but if I stopped using for a few days, the skin became red and itching again. 3. March: Doctor examined and told it was related to fungi. I used Icaden/Isokonazol) in penis and inside the buttocks. 4. It got better and I stopped using all pastes and vinegar bath. - April 2015: 1. Started exercising at the gym, with weight lifting. - May 2015: 1. Red skin area and itching started again. 2. Used Icaden - Isokonazol for 2 days on penis and inside the buttocks. 3. Two days later, after going to gym, I took a shower and started to masturbate. I felt like my penis was under anesthesia. I couldn't stimulate it normally and the sensation was the same as if I was recovering from anesthesia, really doing effort to feel it and be able to unirate. 4. On following days, I also noticed that I didn't have the same control to fart (it's hard to explain). 5. Suddenly, the itching completely disappeared, in the areas where I lost sensation (in penis and between buttocks). 4. After that, it never came back to normal. - May/June/July 2015: 1. I used Imacort, prescribed by Dermatologist. No changes in the symptoms. 2. I used Protopic for 2 weeks as indicated by Urologist. Skin got better, but the sensation was the same. Examinations: MRI, EMG, Blood (for testosterone), Urine, Electroencephalogram. Everything so far, normal. The only thing found on MRI is Tarlov Cyst and a disk that is 3mm not in the correct position, but it's not pressuring any nerves. I'm really desperate, as probably most of you are. Thank you for the space and sorry for so many words. Hopefully one of you will have something else to indicate. |

Hi everyone, I have been suffering the same thing for about 3.7 years and still am waiting to recover. I accidentally fell asleep for 3 hours while wearing a penis extender that was applying a lot of compression at the base of my glans.
Almost 4 years later I still am not able to feel what I am doing during sex, and am almost unable to orgasm. I have had to forget about intimacy with women. Anyone actually recover from this? It would mean a lot to hear what other people's experiences with this have been. Good or bad. The anxiety of not having any idea what may or may not lie ahead for me might be what bothers me the most. |

Hey everyone, I know this is an old thread but I have a similar problem. In december I also jelqed (penis enlargement exercise), and pulled too hard when I had a full erection. I then suffered from erectile dysfunction and had a smaller flaccid penis then before, in addition to numbness and loss of sensation, and cold glans (cold penis head).
Today, my main symptoms are cold glans and sometimes smaller flaccid. My main concerns before were erectile dysfunction and loss of sensation. But I find that my symptoms get worse if I have sex or masturbate. I think having sex re-damages some myelin sheath that hasn't properly healed. Sometimes after I ejaculate, the left part of my penis head slightly loses sensation. Does anyone have any advice for what I should do? I get morning wood almost every morning, but during the day it's harder for me to get an erection. Part of it is maybe due to anxiety. When I'm with my girlfriend, I'm able to get an erection. |

Hi nblade98
Welcome to NeuroTalk . I know nothing about jelqing. I suggest that you get a referral to a specialist who knows about male reproductive physiology. Best wishes.

Im dealing with the same problem for years now. A completely numb penis and no pleasure if i get an orasgm. I luckily dont have any issues with the erection, it got a little bit harder to get an erection, but its still working well until now. I think its also nerve damage for me, because it happened within a splitsecond. I was masturbating and suddenly after a short pain my penis was numb(maybe because of masturbating too hard).
I was jost wondering if any of you guys have experienced any progression on this topic. I wish all of you a good and fast recovery! |

Right down to it, I joined here just to share my journey.
I accidentally fell asleep in a penis ring 3 years ago. I had several erections per night at that time, so the ring really injured me. The next morning all sensation was gone, from the base to the shaft. I visited several urologists, all with the same speech- the injury cost me length, girth and sensitivity both flaccid and erect. To help, but not repair, the damage they gave me cialis and a (400$) penis pump. Did it work? Yes and no. It allowed me to have sex but didn't improve the actual injury. After months, I got back around 30% of sensitivity but with a painful lump on my shaft. So I started my own research and I'm back to I'd say 90% of sensitivity, improved girth and length, not to pre injury size though. In order, these were the steps I took. *Like a previous poster said, I'm not a Dr, but I've been to at least 5 urologists in 2 different cities. None of them seemed to care about my penis as much as I did. 1. No ejaculation. I won't say how long, it was tough but I did it. 2. Castor oil. I used this as a massage oil. Please duly research this, as it has to be a high quality oil to be effective. Within a few weeks, the lump was completely gone. 3. Loads more H2O. 4. Cialis, pump, massage, pump. That was a routine I made, nothing more, nothing less. 5. More exercise i.e. walking and rowing. After getting good but not great results, I sought out a penis specialist. Sensitivity had really improved, erections were firmer but still far less than before. So I researched more and more, around 3 years total. I found this procedure, prp injection, which claimed it could repair penis injury using platelets. It worked. I'm at 90% sensitivity level, I regained more length and girth back after just 1 injection. However, they are not cheap so please do your research. If it is cheap, it probably isn't real. That's it. If only I'd known about the castor oil and injections when it first happened, I'd probably be past my original size! As it is, three years went by before I learned about the prp injections. It has worked for me, hopefully this tidbit will lead you guys down a good path. Stay strong. All thanks to AN Army vet Robert Schiewy, whose story I read a year after it was reported. Please research him, he led me down the prp path. |
