Default Cooresponding MP and Lower Back Pain?

Hello,
This is my first post and after reading dozens of publications, I'm very confident that I have MP. My MP seems to flare up along with lower back pain near the SI joint on the same side. This may be unrelated, but it happens so often that I would like to know if anyone else has experienced the same or have some advice for those of us who do.
Thanks

..and any advice for my specific history would also be appreciated:
I am 32 years old and have had MP symptoms for nearly two years. I am not overweight (M 5'11", 165) and have been pretty active and athletic throughout my life. The only event that I can point to as a cause was lifting a very heavy couch by myself 4-6 months before my symptoms began. I have seen a chiropractor and a physical therapist with inconsistent results and no long term benefit. Xrays do not seem to indicate a disc issue.
