Standing and Walking increase the irritation. Same with tight cloths, or belts. You need to exercise and get your core strength up, which puts you in a Catch 22 situation. Answer is Deep water Aqua Aerobics. Lidocaine Patches are your friend as long as you shave the area. Main cure is losing weight.

I know this is old post, but I don't deal with MP, but Femoral Nerve Damage from a hip replacement in 2010, major groin pain which showed broken down jagged spurs on the groin area pushed me to the hip replacement....I don't have the groin pain now, but a mess from the hip replacement surgery. I was 70 when groin pain came on.
