Default mp from hospital stay?

I was in the hospital for 12 days without getting out of bed. On the 13th day, when the PTs got me our of bed, I felt like 800 lbs. of pressure had been put on my thighs. That was when the symptoms of MP started, and two months later, I still have them. Yes, I am overweight, but I was overweight before the hospital stay and never had problems. Anyone have a similar experience? I am trying to figure out how exactly I got MP. Maybe from being elevated in the bed for 12 days and having wait rest on hipbones?

I was in hospital recently 14 weeks ago , whilst there i was given 2 njections in my left thigh by the nurse . she told me these were to prevent deep vein thrombosis ( i cant remember what they were called ) since the injections i have being in agony with Meralgia paresthetica symptoms .
im sure the nurse damaged my nerve during this procedure ,
