Default Years of pain

Hi guys and girls, am from the UK, I have had numb burning tingling and hypersensitivey pain on my outer thigh for around 6/7 years now, getting worse and worse and never getting better, my doctor is just starting to say it could be meralgia paresthetica, so I have been looking it up and have come across this message board so I hope it comes in handy, I have been on pregabalin but I came off them as I got sensative areas on other parts of my body that won't be MP, but they are not painful but very hypersensitiveto touch and they haven't gone also, well I was on the pregabalin for the lower back pain and the hip pain on the same side as the leg, is the hip and lower back pain also a sign of MP? I have been going out my head for years with the pain, it doesn't give me a second restand weeks by week or gets worse, it feel like knives are being ripped down my leg down to my knee, would love to hear from you all. Thanks Saul.
