hi, Grace here. I have finally been able to see a dystonia specialist. I am so glad. He was impressive and answered all my questions and concerns by asking me about everything I had wanted to ask him. Have been given some Clonezepam to stop the symptoms. It really does help to see a specialist. Just wanted to share the good news.

Hi, Stacy. Yes, not only a movement disorder specialist, but he has subspecialized in dystonia. Yes, the Clonezepam works, but it took a while to get the right dose. I have come a long way from being in the bed May thru half of July, before I was able to get treatment. Thank you for asking and wishing me well.

Hi, Stacy.
I diagnosed myself. My dad had dyskenesia, so when I started having symptoms, I went to my regular doctor and told hm. He agreed and sent me to the specialist. Most days, my dystonia is under control, but then I have "bad" days. Does that happen to you? I just feel yucky and want to stay in bed. |
