Default Anyone else use lemon balm to help with symptoms?

Hi there.

Apologies for posting here, as I do not have anything diagnosed. However, I have significant muscle stiffness in my legs and arms after use. Usually it hits the next day. I assume this is exercise intolerance. My symptoms match more like benign fasciculation syndrome, which is another way of saying I have nothing definable, but my nervous system is just hyper.

However, when I take lemon balm tea once a day, the stiffness/twitches/tremor (which is probably just essential tremor) backs off significantly!

I am just trying to figure out why this lemon balm tea is working for me. Anyone here use it to help with symptoms?

Thanks much,

--Todd

Hi Todd,

I've heard of the use of lemon balm to help calm tics and ocd and for various other conditions.

If you do a forum search you can bring up quite a number of older posts, some in the Parkinson's Disease forum.

Todd,
I thought I'd look up lemon balm in the iHerb library while I was ordering something there.
