Default Chorea- Arms and Head

I was just recently diagnosed with Chorea 3 days ago, and I am 44 years old. Is it common for people my age? I had a twitch or shrug like effect for 4-6 months and was told it was neurological and not related to my Fibromyalgia or the herniated disc in my neck.
Within the last 3 days it has gotten so much worse, my right arm raises all the way up, repeatedly, and my left arm is now twitching (shrugging like) and my head has started too, an typing is almost impossible and aggrevates it really bad, so excuse the errors.
We checked my medication; nothing new, nothing that would cause this; however, I have had 8 back injections in the last 6 months and 1 neck injection last week.
I have been referred to a neurologist, so hoping we can find out for sure what causes this, how long it will be like this, and how we can treat it? Anyone with similair stories, please share, I need the support right now, and will gladly give it in return. Thanks.
