Cool restless FOOT syndrome

I was having the same symptoms as all of you and actually was diagnosed with "Tarsal Tunnel". I had such a hard time getting to sleep because my feet would just burn and not stay still, I would get in the shower and just spray the coldest water for 5 minutes or so and it would help temporarily.
Since the surgery on my feet, it had not improved so now I just take Tramadol. If I take it by 6pm every night, I am able to actually sit through a movie whereas before my feet would drive me crazy...needing to keep the moving, and I sleep with no problem at all. If I miss the 6pm deadline taking my pills, I pay for it later. I never want to be without my Tramadol. It is a non narcotic pain reliever. It does not effect me the way it does with everyone else, my husband took one and he was knocked out, my daughter took one for her back and it made her hyper...I take 3 and it does nothing but even out the stupid restless feet. Hope this helps someone!!
