Help Motors Mommy's pain update

Hi all !!!!! Sorry to bother yall again.

Ok, I have 2 days of medrol pack left.

My symptoms started to calm down somewhat but never went away.
Last night it started all over again. Not as bad but getting there.

Burning pain in head, nerve pain in face and mouth. Lots of sensory issues!!!
the imaginary crawling bugs are back with the imaginary hands choking my neck! My eyes still feel really weird. My joints/bones hurt with anything I do.
I get exhausted very easily. Im not sleeping. Icky feeling all over. Still cringing with light and sound. Starting to walk into walls again! My neck is killing me, so are my hands as I type.
Just cant think right..... oh and to add something new.......(drum roll).........
My skin is cold yet Im sweating buckets!!!!!

Going to leave another message for doctor. Hopefully he hasnt left yet for weekend.

Should I be feeling better by now? Gee, supposed to have a mild MS (whatever that means).

Thanks again!!!

MM

MM,
I once had a Medrol pack and when I finished it I started to feel better and then got worse. It was not enough steroids to treat issues that involved balance, eyes and other problems.

I went to another Neuro because of ins change (yearly changes, sigh), she put me on 5 days of high dose IVSM right away. It had become a acute relapse by then. It happens to the best of us.

They try the least dosage possible at first, if mobility is involved than usually IV steroids are needed, JMO Call the Neuro again, and maybe they will say finish the Medrol pack first and give it time to work, or increase what you are being given. I hope you jump back to a mild case soon. Keep us informed.
