STill feeling craptacular, but the DH and I took a nice stroll. We actually walked the full mile. I am back home, and whooped now, but I did it!

Wow...I guess I am falling behind on updating. Skipped spin class last Thursday (my keyboard keeps trying to type "thirsday"...guess maybe I need a drink?) to go to a meeting of a group called "Because We Can". It is made up right now of cyclists with MS who ride the local Bike MS events, and we hope to work as an outreach group helping to publicize that people with MS CAN be active and to work with newly diagnosed folks to show them that getting a dx doesn't mean you have to quit the things you enjoy.

I made up for it by going to spin class on Friday afternoon. It was "race day", so we got a REALLY tough workout, albeit a shorter one. I had 46 minutes, max HR of 93% of max (my highest in over a month), avg HR of 78% and 764 calories burned.

Monday night we mowed the lawn (1/3 acre using two non self propelled push mowers). Last night we went to spin class again and it was "hollywood hills movie night". They had a video shot from a car driving all through the hills overlooking hollywood projected on a big screen, and we had to increase and decrease our resistance and speed according to the hills we were riding up or down. It was very entertaining and a good workout. Max was 88% of max HR and avg was 76% for 1 hour and 12 minutes with 919 calories burned.

I havent done anything since last friday. Wasnt feeling good over the weekend, and now my left arm is numb. Which is making me feel weird.

I might do something tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully I'm not going to catch the cold that my mom has.

I've been doing outdoor stuff. Cleared lots of undergrowth to prevent more snake visits.
We went on a horse ride yesterday. Two horses out together !! Yipee !!
and I swam in the afternoon.
Wore me out completely.

Thats awesome TxBatman. I love your club, Because We Can. What a great concept.

Do some moving around while you are on the couch, Erin, just to get your blood flowing better around the body. I hope your flare tames down for you.

pud: You had an exciting day; so out of my league its not funny!

I Swam a mile this morning and lifted weights last night for my bones. I woke up with some minor flare in the left leg: Burning, aching, slight wonkiness. It tamed down in the pool. Maybe the cold water helped out. Maybe it was a pseudoflare.

I hope it was just a fluke BBS. I have that happen quite often. I'll feel numbness in my legs or right arm but then it passes.

Today the weather was beautiful! I was able to shoot baskets for 20 minutes.

Just got back from treadmilling. It sucked...my arm is still numb. (and it's not MS related numbness...neuro told me I've got tendinitis in 2 places in my elbow) so I'm uncomfortable all the time now, and the numbness/pain/weird itching is so distracting that I feel weird and kind of sick trying to walk on the treadmill.

Oh well...at least I did a half hour.
