I just saw the other MS dude who is local in my area. I asked about LDN, since the big boy hospital MS dude says NO!. The local MS dude went on a tirade about being careful of things that claim to cure all from alzhiemers to zits. He said he would never reccomend LDN...blah blah blah...

I got turned down for Provigal, and I have an amazing policy. I too refuse to pay cash for that stuff. They wanted $1300 for a one month supply. After exhausting appeals, we are trying more natural alternatives.

I hope you are feeling better quickly!

I hope your pain improves soon. I don't think my MS neuro RXs LDN either. He was lecturing us (those getting their Tysabri infusions together) about this at the last appt. I had brought up lisinopril as a possible good BP med for those with MS, since I read an article about it. He told me why it wouldn't work to treat MS, and told us about the reason other various meds and treatments don't work either. He said there are possible drug interactions with LDN. I think that's why he wouldn't RX it.

He's done decades of research and clinical trials so he knows a lot about everything related to MS it seems.

My plan, if I can get an LDN Rx, would be to not take any other medications, so then I wouldnt have to worry about any drug interactions.

I do not take narcotics. Ever. Hate them (make me violently ill), so I really dont think I'd have to worry about a drug interaction if I could just get one of my doctors to hand over the Rx.

My arm/hand are still numb, still driving me insane, but I've had a few instances today where part of my arm felt like it was lessening the numbness. The hand, is not having fun tho. Feels like my knuckles are getting crushed.
