and for the friends who need a name tell them with a straight face that you have:
a neurological disorder/are being seen by a neurologist and will tell the more details about it in the future when you are ready (and actually have the solid diagnosis). If they press, just look them dead in the eye and say it is private - shuts them up everytime! It is the truth and has worked for me - especially to get the "my friend Sally's aunt sees a great ..." hang in there!
