Dej - Good job! I think you are doing great. 1 1/2 miles is awesome!

Did my walk today and straightened up the house.

Way to everybody, especially you Dej! That doctor is just an old geezer so forget about him.

Today I got my ancient Tae Bo basic VHS tape out for a change, it still works, and I think it's about 13 years old. It has been used at least 1,500 times over the years because I used to do that workout exclusively several times a week, then DH used it for a few years. It just amazes me that it still works.

Anyway, I got 26 minutes of pretty high impact aerobics so I think that's a good substitute for shooting baskets.

I ordered some new DVD workout videos from Collage video today. I only have one on DVD and I figure it's time to get updated a bit. Most of mine are really old and on VHS tape. I'll keep using those until they wear out or the machine breaks though.

Getting new ones once in awhile gets me inspired for working out though, especially when winter approaches. I got four new ones and most of them have several workouts on one DVD so there's lots of variety for under $60 with free shipping.

Also, you can preview the videos at the website and they offer a 30 day money back guarantee even if the video is opened.

This weekend consisted of major housework at DBF's. We are going away and his sister is coming over to watch the dog and cat. I cleaned and detailed the house (1,400 sq. ft.) yesterday and totally overdid it. My legs are so mad at me.

Today I did my morning stretches - Classical Stretch Esmonde Technique. It comes on every morning at 6:30 and I have been trying to keep up with her. LOL

My eighty-four year old Mother and I have been going to Silver Sneakers exercise at the health club we belong to.

Classes are Tuesday and Thursday morning and we really enjoy that.

I got the Biggest Loser Wii workout and we have been doing the beginner exercises on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Since the weather turned warm again (upper 70's) we get out and walk a bit each day too.

We both have appointments with the Doctor and getting bone scans done.

Mother is the picture of health at 5"2", 110 lbs and a natural beauty and NO wrinkles!

I take after my Dad...
