I get this buzzing vibration in my torso . . . that has made me check my laptop to make sure it is not touching me, and has even caused me to check to make sure we are not having a small earthquake!

Welcome to NT. I had a similar reaction when L'Hermittes showed up, THEN I got what you've described, the girdle-band or hug. Awful huh? :(

I hope they find different answers than MS for you. Some of these symptoms overlap other conditions too. Good luck to you!

Thanks for checking in, Lefty. :) The hyper reflexes is an MS symptom....I hope your MRIs give you an answer.

Happy Thanksgiving to You, too and please let's here from you when you get your MRI reports.

I had to postpone the MRI. I have Crohn's and a flare came from out of the blue the night before my MRI, which had me running to the bathroom every 20 minutes or so. I guess I have to lay there for up to 2 hours for the MRI (head and c-spine) . . . . . . . which could be nearly impossible for me even on a good day! Haven't rescheduled, as my gut has not yet calmed down sufficiently.

I have to say I am also concerned about the gadolinium contrast they use. I have a kidney ultrasound on the 10th to track a kidney cyst to make sure it is not growing; and although my kidney function bloodwork is within normal limits, the side effects of the contrast would be highly unwelcome! Anyone got advice on how not to let fear of the test get in my way now?
