Default M.s./so.cal and kaiser south

Our health insurance is increasing again. Am looking into switching to Kaiser So. because it is so much more affordable. For those of you who live in So. Ca. , have MS and using Kaiser So. what has your experience been? GOOD or BAD Thanks

No idea what kind of plans they offer in California, but I have Kaiser insurance here in the Cleveland Ohio area. No really serious issues with it, they have a Hospital here and smaller local clinics here and a doctor net work.

You get to pick your family doctor (PCP) from the list and can change if you aren`t satisfied. Local clinics here handle routine illness, blood work, x-rays and such and refer you to their hospital for things the local clinic does not handle.

No neuros at the local clinics, they send you to the Kaiser hospital for that, neuro there? First one I thought was basically useless, he couldn`t give me a diagnosis that fit, and had no interest in further testing. No problem for me though, I asked to be referred to a real doctor and they sent me to the Cleveland Clinic`s Mellen MS center.

The doctor there confirmed my personal diagnosis of PPMS. No real serious issues with them, costs are reasonable and fair.
