Default mobility scooter rental- Indianapolis?

Does anybody have a suggestion for a company that rents mobility scooters n Indianapolis?

I will be in Indy for about a week in May for a conference. The hotel is too large for me to navigate on crutches (and the carpet is super plush, which prevents me from pushing my wheelchair myself)

Thank you!

I love Freedom Medical, here in Evansville which is in the south west corner of Indiana they have very reasonable 3 day or 1 week rentals. I don't know if they have any branches anywhere else or not. When I rented mine for Disney World AAA was very helpful. It was delivered to the hotel and they picked it up when I was done with it. They delivered it the night before so it would be all charged up for me. I wish I could remember the name of the agency though.

Jane, I emailed the Indy NMSS chapter and asked about scooter rental, and got a lengthy response. Send me a PM if you'd like to see what they have to say. I can either forward the email to you (I'd need your email address), or copy the info to a PM.

I just thought of something. Maybe the conference or the hotel would be able to give you some advice

Thanks- the hotel does not recommend any particular comapnay, suggested I google providers, somehting about liability. Same for conference but they cant suggest a company as they are from DC and have no info on local companies. Sigh

Somedays it seems the simplest things become so needlessly convoluted, eh?
