I have been using medical marijuana for Crohn's for several years now. And I will continue to use it if MS is confirmed -- or not . . . .

Hurry Up with those studies!! Bet if the "powers that be" lived with excrutiating pain 24/7, that medical mj would be on the shelves tomorrow!!! I keep praying for something to come along that will REALLY take away some of this pain.

I came away from my neuro appointment yesterday with my medical marijuana letter.
 I was surprised at how easy the discussion was and how quickly it was done. We shall see what happens if I ever get hassled by law enforcement and I whip out my letter.

I have this mental picture in my mind of you all, shaking bones and bells and charms, muttering prayers and voodoo curses, dancing around in a circle of salt, with leetle glasses and tiny bottles of cheer in the middle...myyyyyy friends! diagnosed 09/03/2004 scheduled to start Tysabri 03/05 Tysabri withdrawn from market 02/28/05 Copaxone 05/05-12/06 Tysabri returned to market 06/05/06 Found a new neuro 04/07 Tysabri 05/25/07-present Medical Marijuana legally 12/03/09 . Negative for JC virus antibodies! . I'm doing alright and making good grades, The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades! . |

I told my Neuro I could find MJ if needed and LDN (which he will NOT prescribe if needed and I don't think he likes me anymore (not that he ever was like "crazy" or caring about me and my feelings. Man is in a box and not leaving soon.)

In my neuro's box, non FDA approved substances (let alone illegal!!
 ), are not considered. Thinking outside the box does not happen. Not so sure enough done in the box either.

RW, I read your letter to Jim. We are so happy for you!
 Now, which house is empty on that lake of yours? LOLSigned, Patiently waiting in Illinois where the politicians decided to go on holiday break instead of voting on medical mj. It's now sitting in the rules committee until the new year.
