Default tooth and ear pain? Anyone?

I've posted about this before so its really not new for me but I thought I'd put it back out there.
I've been having tooth pain (back teeth) and it can be on either side. Even the side that has had 2 root canals!! Feels like a nagging tooth ache and sometimes feels sensitive to chew.

Now add: Ear pain...can be one or both sides. Feels like a stabbing pain like someone is poking my ear drum. Sometimes I hear a thumping noise like me ear drum is thumping....then it will itch like crazy.
Really acts up when the cold air hits my ears or I just down right feel cold!! My nose is not stuffed up so I don't think there is anything wrong with my sinus'.

I've had this off and on for some time and I've had doctors look at my ears for infection and there is nothing. I told my dentist about my teeth but he sees nothing wrong and thinks its from the MS.

Can anyone else share with me a simular thing going on with you???

yep! thats me. I find that happens when I am in or coming out of a flair. When I am in the clear, my teeth dont ache, and my ears are fine.

Drives me nuts!

Sounds like some trigeminal nerve issues. I have had that for years, starting 4-5 years before my MS dx. Mine can get pretty severe, but since my last steroid treatment last year, it's been fairly quiet. I haven't had it fully examined, but from what I have been able to piece together from websites, research and discussions with my GP, Neuro, and Dentist, it is definitely linked to the MS.

Hope the pain's not too bad. Like I said, sometimes mine's severe and I can't lay my head on that side due to pain.

I had that happen when I was first having my MS symptoms. I had it happen a few times and it was painful.
