I told my son to put on a pair of Playtex gloves and then try to button his shirt. That's exactly what it feels like to me all the time!! I think he finally understood what I have been trying to describe.

DS (17) loves to take my power chair as I try to nap and he arrives home after school and I'm still in bed. He races around house. Other day made him tuck an arm back (I have use of only one) take grabber and go get water in a bottle and then open with one hand while in chair. He realized how hard little things Mom does but still wants my credit card!!

Cold weather has descended, I'm full time in a chair, hoodies ride up, lap blankets go low, naked belly gets cold!! This 100 year old house in wind gets chilly!. At a Yankee Swap at a party got a Snuggie with one "steal" remaining. It was a popular wanted item. I played the MS card, said VERY LOUDLY to DH, "no one would dare take this from a poor crip in a wheelchair". Kept the stealers away!!! Love my Snuggie. So do kids. Got it back finally, on now, feel toasty and comfortable and it sheds easily as I make pee runs!!! Great gift for WCers. Scooters maybe not. Had good time at party. Attitude does help.

No Connect the Dots book for me. Reminds me too much of the red dots on my belly and behind from all those injections.
