((((tkrik)))) How are the spasms? Have you been to the doc yet? I do hope you get some relief very soon, my friend.:hug::hug:

Trish, hope your feeling better today.

Be careful with anything like this because it could lead to atrophy like Jim has in his hands. We didn't even know it until it was too late. He had spasms and pain in his hands but because he didn't get it checked out it atrophied. They said with pt he could have prevented it. Now we are exercising it to prevent any further damage. :(

Let us know what you find out.

I did get it checked out by my PCP. He did say the tenderness and such does follow right along the line of the muscle, which I already knew. He gave me some Celebrex and some topical pain relief samples to try and told me to increase the Neurontin as needed as it seems to help with the pain. He said if it wasn't better within a few days to call him. It is still sore and somewhat swollen so I guess I need to call. DANG!

He also said that since I do have MS, I have a greater chance of injuring the muscles and/or overusing them than most people.

I may just end up calling the neuro and talking with her about it as it does seem to be nerve/muscle spasm related.
