Friday (dh is in town) and we went out to dinner, went to visit his mom. I was okay. Saturday I woke up okay and fell apart around noon - a couple hours before the snow started falling.

I was so tired I was falling asleep on the couch, my neck and back and a lot of other parts were really hurting. Not walking too well, kind of weak in the hands.

We HAD to go to his sister's for the family Christmas party. I lived through that, came home and promptly fell asleep. Woke up on and off all night, still feel pretty rough. (been up since 3 am)

This happens every time we get a storm. And it's not a really bad storm here, thank goodness.

It's not any colder or damper than it was yet I feel trashed.

I'll come around as this passes.

Anybody else feel like they been hit by the snow plow?

Yeah...right about now, I do, and we aren't even getting the storm.

(((Brain))) It is hit or miss with me. I don't get it. Sometimes when the weather changes like that I feel worse, sometimes I don't.

Yep, happens to Jim like clock work.

It's weird, but in the summer, I get a migraine. In the winter it's fatigue and body aches - this is better.

Anyhoo it's still snowing just a little but I feel mostly okay now.

Oh yeah.....we human barometers. Ten to twelve hours before a storm (or just a system in the atmorphere) blows through, the inside pressure starts building with lots of pain all over. Then just before the precipitation starts, my sinuses start with the pressure and nose running. After the "stuff" actually gets here, the symptoms subside. Who knows?????? I had these things occur long before any diagnosis of MS or Fibromyalgia.

What Judy said! We have a digital weather station that shows bars for barometric pressure over a 24 hour period. When I start feeling the pain, I start watching the gauge and sure enough it usually is rising pretty fast. When the weather system passes I feel fine. I also can feel the pressure when hurricanes are moving into the Gulf of Mexico... and I live about 400 miles north of the Gulf!

This has happened to me too. Luckily, I don't have to deal with snow, but when we get a cold snap with rain I feel it. Last time I spent an hour trying to empty my dishwasher, but was too tired, confused, sick, to finish, so I went to bed. I felt better in the afternoon when the rain stopped and the temp rose.

I also noticed that if I'm already experiencing sx, like now, because I have a mild cold, and today its cloudy and getting colder, and my sx continue to worsen... PMS+a cold+rain=misery.

Personally, I can't wait for spring and some mild weather.

humidity, in summer, fall, winter (snow) or spring... hits me hard... undx as you know....

but I get so cogfogged out, numb/tingling and just about how you describe yourself... any time a storm of rain or snow (humidity) is coming... and during it.

funny though, this is One part of my sxs, that when I mentioned to different neurologists, they quickly say... well that is NOT something that happens with MS....

hugss and sorry, it is hard when it hits... last few years is when it started getting my body even in winter...and I love seeing snow falling... but then get like almost mad that it is...due to my body....
