Heart How many of you feel like this?

Amusement Park Called 'MS' "

by Cheryl K.

I have looked and looked
and I have found,
One thing for sure--MS is a constant
Merry-Go-Round.

When vertigo makes your world
start to spin and twirl,
That is the ride that they call
the "Tilt-a-Whirl".

When depression takes you up,
and then down,
That must mean that the "Roller Coaster"
has come to town.

Have you begun to run into the walls?
You are then walking the
"Fun House" halls.
And the ride that they call
the "Octopus",
Are all the many symptoms reaching out to us.

Doctors, lawyers, man or woman,
it doesn't seem to care
Who comes to play,
who comes to share.

All the many problems
and all of the stress,
In this place, this "amusement park"
called MS.

I only feel some of those things and just thinking about how someday all of these things can and prob will happen to me scares me to death. but i know i am not alone and i just want to say thank you to all of you out there who have helped me realize that ms is just a part of life some of us have to live with and to me it dont make us weaker it makes us stronger. Even when people look at us weird for walking a little different or when we slur our words when i see/hear people that do that i just turn my head and hold it high and i know that MS will not controll my life.

"A Christmas Song"

by Bev Schwartz

It's a time of peace, in darkness,
When Christmas shines a light.
It tells the world that God is near;
He has made ALL things right.

The songs we sang, so long ago,
Bring us to a place,
When all that held us, in the night,
Was GOD'S amazing grace.

Jesus was born on Christmas day.
A friend HE'S been to me.
From the chains of loneliness,
HE has set us free.

So, what I want for you today,
Is a touch from GOD above,
That fills you with HIS Spirit
And heals you, with HIS love.

You are very creative miss Kentucy wild child. I hope you keep writing. Pooring those thoughts out on paper is such a wonderful thing. I envy talent like that. I sit and stare at the paper, and wonder what to write. I wish i could open the tap and let it flow.
