Feeling any better. Kick?

I did a XO strip this morning out of curiousity. It still turns purple (Leukocytes indicator), Purple, but not as dark as it's been. See Urologist tomorrow, PCP expects report from him, hope between the two they'll come up with a plan. I don't feel bad but I don't feel good. Is it the UTI or MS or age? Who knows.SIL says she sent package for my birthday (the 30th), have I gotten it? (no) Life is like that all around, you know?

On a new Antibiotic, feel better but always do on ABs.
On 27th have a Urodynamic workup - sounds like I should come out dynamic with a superpower but no. Sure will be lots of invasive things I'll never want to discuss. My sister and friend sent me a present because I have UTI from Heck. That part I like.

I think you may have broken a record for the longest-running UTI...
hope the ABs work quickly:hug:

Will there be a prize?

So sorry to hear about your UTI from, well you know where. My Olhipie had a UTI that lasted him for about five months...nothing helped! The doc decided that the bacteria had become part of his body, I guess you could call it colonized.

About 14 years ago he had a indwelling cath put in. He had leakage problems. Four years ago he had a Suprapubic cath and he has only had only had maybe five UTI's in four years!

Your body might be trying to own that bacteria! I hope you can find some answers soon!!

Depending on how you feel it could be that the bacteria has colonized. That means it has become part of you and the body isn't fighting it anymore. This is fine but there is a higher chance of it turning into another UTI in the future. Jim got to the point where he was resistant to all oral antibiotics. We discussed with the doctor what to do and we decided to stop all meds and see what happened. Turned out he was colonized and he's fine now. But again, if any symptom pops up we have to run in and get a culture. He is also on a maintenance antibiotic, Macrobid.

Hope this round of antibiotic helps you!
