Hello you reality show "addicts",
Did anyone see AI this evening? It was another evening of amusing contestants. However there were several talented folks out there too. Next stop in New York City should be great.

See you in NYC,
Chris

Sometimes I don't 'get' what they are looking for. I liked the first contestant that sang, the one they said was over the top. But they really liked the one that kind of looked like Castro. A lot of people say that they get burned out by watching the auditions. Maybe I need to do that. At the end of the show they showed all of them that got through. I would of liked to see their audition. Why do they keep on showing all those crazy people that say they actually think they can sing.

Boy, I can tell I couldn't sleep and have gotten up. I'm kind of rambling!!!!!!

I missed most of the first hour But it was for a good cause. We had someone from here in Evansville on Deal or no deal. I had never watched that show. It was kind of fun. This contestant was one of our local news anchors so she was used to being in front of the camera. I didn't recognize the guest judge. Why does Simon always look like he wished he were some place else?

lol doydie...cuz i think he really does. can you blame him?

on the radio this morning i was listening to the dj's talk about other staions that hheld contest for the worst singer. they sent those peopel to audition on ai. the further they got..like on tv..the more prizes they won.

our local fox staion had a n interview with niki mcgibbon from season 1. she is on a come back. has a new song and video out. and she told why she didn't sign the contract with rca. it was for 6 county cd's.

i can't wait for the real singing stuff to start.

so how did she do on deal or no deal? i haven't watched it, just seen the previews.

She won $83,000. There are one and possibly two more from Evansville on the show. There has already been one. It aired on Christmas day because he is from Santa Claus Indiana! I don't remember how much he got. The lady on tonight is donating part of her winnings to get an artificial ear for a local wreck victim.

I've become a reality show addict and can't stop! A few years ago, I hadn't seen one, but now -- hoo boy! How about Dirty Dancing? It ended Wednesday but will probably be rerun. Then there's Next Nashville Star, here it's on Thursday, 10 pm, USA. The Biggest Loser (not on now). Cowboy U, CMT but don't know what night. There's something for everyone with the wide variety.

Looking forward to the Amazing Race -- that's my favorite! If only I was healthy, would love to do that!

As you've mentioned -- what are some of those people thinking who audition for AI? They really believe they have talent! Ouch!

Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Skating with Celebreties, the list goes on and on!

What's with Paula A's mouth? It sounds like she has a mouth full of marbles when she talks and is hard to hear and understand. Don't you think it's extremely rude when the judges start laughing when a contestant is doing his best? Of course the really weird ones must know they're "strange".

At least these are all "real" people which to me is more interesting to watch than dumb sitcoms. To each his own. Stay tuned...........

Wow Judy, you watch way more than I do. I thought I was an addict. Of course I watch a lot of the reality shows on HGTV, Style and TLC. I am counting down the days when Survivor starts.

You're right, doydie, I do watch tv alot. In my "former life" it rarely was turned on, but now that my legs don't work anymore, etc., the tv has become my "friend". Those shows you mentioned on HGTV and TLC are great too.

Anyway -- did anyone see the Apprentice and Grease last night? My daughter had her son's 14th birthday party here so lots of family around. Of course I missed those programs and now I'm wondering who was eliminated???? Those unlucky guys in the tents -- that wouldn't be my cup of tea!!!

Hope everyone is having as good a day as possible!

i saw a few minutes of the apprentice while i was folding laundry. lol

i think the ladies name was marrissa who got voted off. she NEVER stopped talking. so if the name isn''t right...i'm sure you will know who it is. she even interupted donald trump...over and over. kept talking about her chicken idea. she wouldn't have lasted a day as my employee. lol

the group that won the challendge was the ones sleeping outside. oh my goodness. what a bunch of filthy people. it was sooooo gross seeing what they had left behind.

well...that was my whole tv experience for the weekend. we are moving, so i'm packing packing. keep me updated on ai..im not sure if i will have time to watch.
