Default Reality show addict

Do you all want to start a thread about the current reality shows on now?

Right now I'm watching The apprentice, You're the one that i want and American Idol. I even watched a few minutes of the beauty and the geek. It is a very interesting premise.

Default extreve makeovers...

I'm not usually a big-time reality show fan, but I really enjoy "Extreme Makeovers". It is like a cinderella story to watch homely people being dolled-up cosmetically, physically, hair-wise, etc, and becoming the cat's meow!!!

Colour me silly, but I've been an American Idol fan for the last two seasons. Last evening we sat in front of the telly eating our dinner and watching. I do believe it is on again tonight. I'd better run off now and prepare dinner so we'll be ready to be tuned in again.

Some of the contestants were mad funny last night I must say. I do hope tonight is better.

Usually Simon is the only one sarcastic but I think last night Randy was quite sarcastic also. From what they showed us on TV, they had very little talent to choose from.

Did anyone else notice the poor dental hygiene of many of the contestants in Seattle last evening on AI, or was it just us? I know everyone is always saying the Brits have terrible teeth, but last night seemed to be a commercial advertisement for a dental hygiene program.

Also, I was rather shocked at how rude some of the contestants became after they were nixed. All in all, it was mad funny. I am looking forward to next week. I loathe when I get so addicted to a program. But, it is worth it towards the end of the competition.

I'm here too!
What is wrong with those contestants that get so upset. Haven't they seen the show? I say you get what you ask for. You want to be on TV, you set yourself up for it. I feel so bad for the young ones who think they are so talented and are so shocked. They shouldn't be so mean to the ones who are probably mentally impaired as well. What does that say about those screeners who put them through to Simon, etc.?

I've been watching Top Chef and Real Housewives of OC. I live about 10 miles away from Coto de Caza and have seen that real estate agent Jeana at the mall. I've also seen Slade around town in his Hummer. We are by no means in that tax bracket! I am waiting for Project Runway and the Amazing Race All Stars to start. I think the Amazing Race starts in Feb. Some of my favorite teams from past seasons are coming back. Isn't Survivor starting again soon?

I think Survivor stats Feb. 8th. One of the contestants even said that he really hadn't ever watched American Idol, didn't know what it was about. These kids that are so nervous and can't sing and give that as an excuse, what do they think is going to happen to them when they get to Hollywood and go through those grueling days of auditions.

Look at me, I sing solos in church and I still get a ferocious headache right before and have to keep a cheat sheet with me. And I'm griping about them! I have no idea how I would react. But I do know that I would never do it. I don't think I could put my entire life, kids and job totally on hold to go through all that.

OK, are there any Apprentice addicts here? I missed it last night. My daughter came in for a surprise weekend and my two granddaughters have precedence over Grease and Apprentice. I can find those on line and tonight I found Apprentice on MSNBC.

I don't how I feel about someone quiting when they know they did a lousy job and caused the team to loose. She would have been fired but she quit instead. Said 'this wasn't what I signed on to do", talking about all the tent camping instead of living the Trump luxury during the interview process like all the other seasons. what do you all thing.

I have gone on line and checked out all the contestants for the new Survivor Fiji and Amazing Race all star. Can't wait for them to start. And don't even get me started on Prison Break!!!!!!!!
