I had some of those slipper socks, and they "slipped" around so that the sticky things were on the top of my foot. Dang near broke my neck. Moral of the story: Keep your eye on them, make sure they stay turned the right way before stepping out on faith.

I'm glad it is going to be okay. Falling at our age is no walk in the park. Now, you mentioned you are at 185 pounds . This isnt good! This is going to be as much of a problem as your MS! Do you have any desire to get healthier -- it would help you balance, your mobility, your breathing, your independence, and your feeling of well being-- or have you decided to keep it this way?

I'm not morbidly obese, BBS. I am 5'7" and larger boned...A big girl. My Doc says I have the health of a 39 yr old, except for MS. I weighed 160 and wore a size 12, a few years ago. So far, my weight is not a health problem.

Oops. For some reason or other , I had you pegged at @ 5'3", so please ignore my ramblings and thanks for being so gracious about it.
