Doydie,
Oh don’t worry. I wouldn’t have been dead when the housekeeping people came in the next morning, so no CSI. I’m quite a bit tougher than that. I would have, however, been very cranky because I would have needed coffee baaaaad by then. It is true, though, that one learns from one’s mistakes. I certainly will never be put in that position again.

![]() Wow, that is scary. The only time I got near a hot tub was a while back, went on my one and only girls' wekend with sis and some other women. They got in the hot tub, but I just put my feet in (was that time of the month). After 5-10 minutes of foot soaking, we decided to leave. Even just that, and I felt so weak, had crazy bad vertigo. I could barely walk. I've never felt that wonky ever before. And on that wet ceramic floor, it was kind of scary. My sis knows about me, but the other women were looking at me like what is up with you? Strangers - there were only a couple - were looking at me like I was totally drunk (at 8am? okay I might do something like that on vacation lol but I hadn't that time). Dej - I take a phone everywhere too now. Mostly, THEY need to get me more than I need them, though. ![]()

It wasn't actually a hot tub, per se. It was like a regular hotel tub - kind of small - with those Jacuzzi water jets. It was, actually, made by Jacuzzi, but it was just sort of a fancy shmancy bathtub. I know better than to get overheated in a hot tub.

Marion, I hope you are feeling better now. That was quite a horrible experience. I know it could happen to any of us.
You used your brain and did good. I am glad you made it up and out. Many people I heard this happened to, just sat is the water until it was freezing cold, cause they couldn't get up and out. They froze for hours until help arrived. You were smart to pull the plug and get the water out. Dry the area to get traction. Your body didn't cooperate but your brain is working very well. Kudos to you Marion. ![]()
