Default Questions on LDN and pain.

I've been on LDN 3 mg. for 5 years. I've been having a lot of leg pain, off and on since Oct. The pain feels like muscle spasms, mild aches and very severe aches, waking me up at night, and making it very difficult to walk and the balance is terrible, I take baclefen 10 mg. in the morning and 20 mg. at night, which helps for a while then I wake up with pain, also ibuprofen 400 mg. twice a day, which helps, I have also had some new symptoms that I've not had before, does this mean it is progressing or just new symptoms. Also, when do you know when to up the LDN dose. Does this pain ever go away or am I going to live with this from now on, right now I am having a lot of vertigo to the point that I get sick at my stomach and vomit. I am so thankful for this site, no one knows what I am going thru, but the ones that have it. My doc can't even help me, but give me another pill. I will probably think of more questions later.

I'm on 4.5 mg of LDN. I do have pain in my fingers which I attribute to spasticity. It might be arthritis, though. I take Aleve and that seems to keep it at a tolerable level. If I forget to take it (Aleve) I definitely notice!

LDN is not really a pain killer, but it does raise your endorphins, which is nature's pain killers.

Pooch,
I've been having the same leg pain off and on (mainly on) since September...it's probably spasms.
Call your doc and see if you can up the baclofen...my neuro took me off of baclofen and put me on zanaflex capsules...but I still am awakened at night by the pain...hope you feel better soon
