Very true, Debbie. The denial begins when we are in remission. The bad thing about this is that when a flare hits again, it hits our emotions hard. I had to really work on the denial thing and am doing much better now; accepting that I have limitations. I still overdo it all the time - I haven't quite gotten the concept of pacing. I am a full on person and always have been. It is really hard to change a 40+ year old personality trait/habit.
