Dej - I like the idea of an electric one. Muscle fatigue happens so quickly so having a motor is a great option - I want to be able to get back home.

The bikes are expensive though and there is no way I could ever afford one. I was thrilled to find one out in the middle of nowhere - literally no where - like 50 miles or so to the nearest town, village, etc. You would have thought I won the lottery. It does need some work as it is old and rusty. But that is just cosmetic.

I think the seat look very high on the electric model. I am not sure I could balance well up there on a pedestal.

This would work with balance issues - quadricycle.

I was going to say a three wheeler. I am a avid MT.Biker and have a very expensive one that I have not ridden in a year and a half.. I miss it and people tell me that I'll be able to ride it this spring/summer.

tkrik, I like that one. Add a motor and it would be a golf cart. Now if it has two sets of pedals, I would sit back and relax and let some family member ride me. You can get plenty of fresh air but you have to get it to a good place to ride.

It is mostly city-like where I live. Go in the street and you're done in by cars. I could ride around the parking lot though.

Eric, I hope you get back to riding when you start to feel better. We all miss something in our life that we have trouble doing at this time.

Me, I love to dance, but would fall over going solo. I would have to hold on to someone to even consider dancing. The motion would toss me over.

Eric, have you tried to use a stationary bike in the house to keep up your biking?

The DH said he is going to get me a trike. I cant seem to stay balanced on a regular bike well enough, and he worries. This way he said I can go riding and not have to wobble all the way down the street. He is terrified I am gonna fall over into the street and get smacked by a car. That 4 wheeler looks awesome!

When DH and I were teens, he and his best bud made a bike-built-for-two out of 2 bikes.
He's talked of hooking our bikes together the same way so he can help me with balance and pedaling...do I have the best guy or what?

Awwww! Yes, you do have a great guy and are very lucky to have him. That is so sweet that he is thinking of you like that.
