I agree, you can speculate all you want, but its better to ask the radiology folks or your MD. This way he can further explain the finding, and not just report the finding.

it is on my giant list of questions for Monday's ortho appt. Right now I am not too concerned with it, but it was something new.

To be honest, if there is something else going on with my body, I just don't want to know anymore!

I owe MrsD a cookie! The fat islands are cysts of fat withtin the bone most likely where there is a lack of minerals to sustain the bone. Bone density test ordered to check for Osteopenia, and he thinks this was most likely brought on by the steroids.

Don't have any here. I DO have my fav archer lemon cookies! (which I only allow myself to buy once a year because there is like 14 grams of fat per cookie!) And thanks to my super stocking up for DD's giant box of school snacks...

We have oreo cakesters, Chocolate Chip, Fudgeshoppe striped, mini milanos, and Fig Newtons.

OH, and in the freezer there are about 12 boxes of girl scout cookies left.
