Default taper

Since I switched my neurologist to an MS specialist in KS City, I'm using my local PCP for my steroid taper this time. Dr. O used to give me 3 month tapers! Dr. W is going w/ 12 days. Wow!

This doc considered that, and, I've heard of others that do that. Usually, my flares are severe enough that the reason for the taper is because I am not ready to be off steroids.

My MS uses very short tapers. 5 days on IV and 3 days of a rapid detox off, and done! Steroids have many issues all their own, from mental dysfunction, to bone destruction. Get off as fast as you can please.
