Default Specialist vent. :(

Haven't heard anything from the MS Center or anything, so called my neuro's office back. The staff said that they had to order and send MRI CD's before the new place would even contact me. Thankfully, they took care of that for me and hopefully I'll hear something for that place soon for an appointment.

But that is not why I'm upset. I wanted to see the specialist in the old group to get some info before I'm in the "inbetween" place of waiting. Since I don't want to go on Tysabri, he doesn't really want to see me. WTH! Talk about obviously in the drug company's pocket! He's the most knowledgable MS person on staff! Even my neuro is a little upset. I've met the specialist once before, and I thought he was an okay guy. Just so confused. But at least I have the answer as to why the whole group is dumping me off elsewhere. Crossing fingers I get better treatment at the center!

That's despicable, Jenn...wonder if it would be worth your while to tattle on him to the doctor police...would that be the AMA?
Hope you hear from the MS center soon...

It's a shame that we, as patients, have to put up with this sort of behavior from the medical community. How obvious can they be???

That's one of the reasons I love being on LDN....besides the fact that it works so well for me with no side effects....nobody benefits from me being on it but me. And that's the way it should be, IMO.

Its horrible when it becomes clear that an MDs eye lays on the prize from whatever big pharma company is leaning on him, and not on the patient he is supposed to be devoted to. Scary stuff! I hope you go to a new center.
