Had my doc write me a pediatric dose. I hesitated to fill it till I researched.

Needless to say I dropped it off today. Doc said it takes 1 month to soak in.

My Neuro told me that, Prozac is good for MS. My DD, who also has MS, and I are both on Prozac and LDN. She's in remission and I'm doing fine.

I've been on Prozac 20 mg. for 15 years. I was never a depressed type of person until ms, without it I was suicidal, I guess I will always have to have it.

As someone who used Prozac off and on for several years I, personally will not touch Prozac with a ten foot pole. This drug made me feel like a zombie, I had no energy and it affected my libido. All I was capable of doing is laying or sitting down.

With full knowledge that medications effect everyone differently be informed about side effects in case you notice something that is not usually normal for you.

FYI - because it is an older anti-depressant it takes longer to take affect, about 6 to 8 weeks before you may notice any positive effects from Prozac.

And yes everyone's different so what doesnt work on 1 may do wonders for you/me!

My Neuro told me the same thing. Which surprised me because he usually doesn't agree with things that I've researched! But, apparently he had researched it, too, and said that he recommends it to all his MS patients whether they are on an Interferon DMD or not.

I can't say that I can tell a huge difference when I take it.....I don't feel any different. But it, in combination with the LDN, seems like a good combo. I'm gonna keep taking both!

I'm big fan of antidepressants for people who need them. I hope it works for you.
