Hellow fellow Clubbers! You are doing good job moving and posting about it in my absence.

Debbie, I think I saw you at teh pool :) That is fantastic--keep on swimming. I am still swimming a mile every day. IT wont be long before you work up to the mile.

Keep On Moving Everybody-- it helps tamp down inflammation which is our enemy!

Hi all...I lasted all of 12 minutes on a bike before the fatigue pushed me off. I walked over to the weight machines but couldn't bring myself to get on them. I went home and took a nap.
This disease sucks:(:(

Well I kept moving this weekend...I had to...it would have been a long walk home. Rode 103.47 miles on Saturday, with 60 miles of it in hills. It took about 8 hours and 15 minutes total, with about 6 hours and 14 minutes of it actually riding. My average speed was 16.6 mph.

On Sunday, I battled through flat tires, headwind, tight muscles, and a sore neck to ride another 52 miles. Not sure what my total time or average speed were on Sunday because I didn't reset my computer. I ended with 155 miles and change for the two days, and I am walking a bit slowly today...

Hooray TX Batman, woo hoo!! :)

My long overdue update:

I washed the siding day before yesterday and I'm still sore. Yesterday I washed windows downstairs and more sore from that. I also did some gardening and digging and traded some of my hostas to a neighbor for some of her sun perennials. I bought two trees to plant but waiting on the utilities to come and mark underground cables.

I have a Pagoda dogwood and a Princess Diana serviceberry tree. My river birch that I planted last spring isn't doing too well and our old flowering plum isn't either. I wonder if it was the hard winter?

Debbie D 04-22-2010 03:25 PM

Woo-hoo TX!!

Wiz, you amaze me:eek: River birches have been having a rough time up this way...not sure about your other tree, but I wouldn't doubt that the rough winter had a hand in it...:(

Tuesday I swam 1/2 mile in 33 min. Felt so wonderful right afterwards, then the fatigue hit about an hour later. At least I got the workout in...
Today I worked out on a stationary bike for 24 min., then lifted weights for 30 min.
After lunch, I mowed the lawn for 1 hour. I'm done!!

I went out and pulled weeds for a half hour today even though I have a bad head cold. :o

Did spin class tuesday night just to spin out my legs and loosen them up a bit. Worked 1 hour and 4 minutes at avg HR of 68% and max of 84% (told you I went easy). I have been feeling some significant fatigue midday the last couple of days and suspect it is left over from the exertions of the weekend. Hope it goes away soon, as sleeping in my truck in the parking garage for an hour during lunch every day isn't a sustainable solution.

Went on another hike with my DD today for about an hour and we walked 1.75 miles. Nothing like fresh air and good conversation with my DD while getting some exercise.
