Default Live Web forum on CCSVI and MS April 14

There will be a live Web forum about CCSVI and MS, sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology and the MS Society, on April 14th.

The forum will be at 12:00 pm (noon) Eastern Time. It will last 90 minutes. The panel will consist of the following speakers:

•Dr. Paolo Zamboni, Director, Vascular Diseases Center, University of Ferrara, Italy

•Dr. Robert Zivadinov, Associate Professor of Neurology at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York

Dr. Andrew Common, Radiologist in Chief at St. Michaels Hospital, University of Toronto, Ontario, CA

•Dr. Aaron Miller, Professor of Neurology and Director of the MS Center at Mount Sinai, New York, member of the AAN Board of Directors, Chief Medical Officer of the National MS Society

Questions for the panelists can be submitted online before the live Web forum via Facebook or Twitter or in real time through the live Web forum player.

Thanks agate for this information.

If the MS society has a play in this, it will surely end up to be a "Wait and See" approach. They never stick their neck out for the MS population. They have to be cautious, because the world is watching.

I plan on attending, and have submitted a question. I asked about the safety of using arterial stents in vascular places simply for the sake of getting a blocked area open, and if they are trying to develope special tools just for the "bucket handle" area that tends to be shut off in the patients they are seeing.

Thanks for the heads up. I am excited to hear this.
