I am low in B12 (308), low RBC,(3.7) low hemo (12), low hema (35), low carbon dioxide (20) and high folate (21.9). my doc said pernicious anemia.
I also an dx with RRMS and migraines. I have been taking B12 injections since Jan and really feel no different. How long does it take to feel better? Is this common with MS? Also, does this run in families? My 22yr old daughter just had her blood tested. She was low B12 (220), low hemo (11.8), low hema (35.2), and folate (13). Her RBC were normal range, carbon dioxide normal range. She goes to follow up doc appointment later this week. Are the chances higher for her to develop MS too?? Thanks |

So sorry for your anemia, Daisy. I don't know if MS has anything to do with your anemia? I guess it's possible, but it needs to be delt with as if it stood alone, I would presume. Low B12 is not unusual for MSers, but not all of us have it. I don't!
I wish you and DD well and feeling better soon.
