Here is another unhelpful hint:

Put everything on the ground 'cause it is going to end up there anyway.

Sally gave some good advice about running hands under cold water. Never thought of doing it to help keep the dropsies at bay, but I do know it helps me when I feel a bit over heated.

But I can totally relate that it happens sometimes. My tiger kitty is a scrounge, and she knows that where I sit is our home's equilivent of a highchair. Some food is bound to drop off my plate, LOL

I've tried something similar. I had a "stress ball" at work that I brought home when I cleaned out my desk. I use it sometimes but it seems to make my hand weaker. After I work out with the stress ball I can barely hold anything in that hand for a good while. It actually feels like when you've held onto a weed eater for a long time and your hand and arm is literally useless for a little while after.

True, Kell, but it's probably building up your grip muscles, also??

Once my Medicare takes effect in August I plan to go to the doctor and have a full blood work-up. I want to know what my Vitamin D and B12 levels are. I'll ask him to check my testosterone levels, too.

I don't eat an abundance of carbs.....mostly whole grains and fruits are the only carbs I get. I do drink lots of water and eat a fairly high protein diet.

Sounds good. My B12 is at the max of range (sorry dont have # infront of me) from taking 1 500 mcg (tiny) B12 and a B100 daily.
My D 25 OH total? was 110 from taking 2000i.u. 4x/day. I stopped it to see if its causing my sweats but im still sweating.
