Thought I was back in menopause, but I've been getting hot, then so cold I get goosebumps, then hot again...It's not like a hot flash, just hot all over.
How do you get control over this?

Sounds like you might have a thyroid problem. Have you ever had it checked? Seems like I remember you mentioning that your doctor was checking on that for you.

I just try to be ready. I always bring a little white shrug sweater but winter, places can be over warm so I wear layers I can take off as needed. |A little blanket ready at my feet on summer nights cause I wake in night cold and DH doesn't. If I wake him up he tells me I'm crazy, it's hot in room but I'm cold. In winter, waking up to pee I head to the cold tiled bathroom and welcome the chill (my house is old). DH just follows along, shaking his head. And during Menopause - OMG!

I have this symptom too. I've had my thyroid checked and it was normal. I'm not menopausal either. I'm pretty sure my temperature problems are related to the MS. No fever either, it just seems to be my body not adjusting to the temperature of the atmosphere around me properly.

My body can't control temperature very well due to CMT. So I can understand what you guys are going through. It's not fun. Some days and nights are good and others are not.

I actually saw an endocrinologist last Thursday because my TSH numbers were low, which means I'm taking too much medicine. She palpated my thyroid at rest and while swallowing, and feels it's Hashimoto's
![]() Thank you again, MS, for another wonderful gift... ![]()
