Is that for Avonex?

You should be able to get an autoject from wherever you get your meds from.

Most countries dont offer an avonex injector because its a deep muscle shot. There are things you can do.

1. you can learn how to do it, and with time get more comfie.
2. make friends with the local MD office, and drop in once a week for the injection.
3. recruit a friend or a loved one to learn how and take on the task.
4. speak to the MS society about helping you track down either an injector, a buddy to help you.

make sure you are well hydrated, and premedicated for the injection. Many folks say it helps immensely to be hydrated.

Google Avonex injector and see what pops up. I think Germany offers one, but I am not sure if they will ship it to you. I know when Copaxone offers Canadian stuff they wont send it to USA. Silly huh?

I modified the one I had for Copaxone to use with 1 mL insulin syringes to give my testosterone shots in shoulder. All depends on syringe/volume Avonex is in. I think any autoinjector when used with large enough gauge needle will push it i.m. I use 25gauge for oil based testosterone no problem. 1/2 inch long needle. Takes about 7 seconds. Don't feel a thing. How many mL is Avonex? The Copaxone autoinjector used with 1mL syringe is good for .6 mL max. Can't draw it back all the way. Space only allows so much. Larger syringe diameter (3mL) won't fit as is. Could modify that though
