Default August Has Been The Worst So Far

At least for me, the MS symptoms have really ramped up, this month. I have trying to make the best of it, as I usually do, but it's been tough.

August has been a funny month weatherwise. One day it's 90 and the next 70, but the temps changes are only exacerbated by the humidity.

Even the A/C doesn't know how to act. When it was consistantly in the mid 80s to mid 90s, the Air ran almost constantly and it stayed pretty nice, in the house.

It's just one of those things that POs me, 'cause I can't do a dang thing to change it...GRRRRRRR.. I go to bed feeling tired, sick to my tummy and extremely achy and wake up feeling the same way.

Anyone else notice this month being extremely hard on us with Neuro Disease/MS?

I know it has been a bit of a rough month for me.Some ms symptoms that have disappeared have returned (dizziness, internal tremors/vibrations), and my spasticity and hug are also worse.

take this for what you will (if you believe in all that) but mercury is currently in retrograde which sometimes causes weird things to happen: http://www.astrologycom.com/mercret.html

It's been a hard month for me too. My pain and dizziness and spasms have all been worse. Especially the pain. But then again since my last flair started in April I feel like my symptoms seem to be getting progressively worse. So each month my symptoms are worse than the last.

We've had weird weather, too. Stifling hot, then cooler....all within 24 hours.

I think my sx problems have to do with the barometric pressure. I can tell you by listening to the weather report the night before how I'll feel the next day. I've actually gotten pretty good at it!

SallyC, I'm so sorry you've been feeling so crummy. A sweet person like you doesn't deserve it.

I hope August hurries up and gets over so you can find some relief. {{{hugs}}} I found July to be the toughest for me because of how many hot, humid days we had. We're finally cooling off now and it is such a relief. I think the heat is coming back the next few days but since the evenings are cooler, it'll be easier than it was before.

I second the motion. August has been a tough month. 100 degrees one day and then 60 the next. Allergies are massive due to pollen confusion. the humidity has kept mold on the rise, and the heat simply exhausts me.

Hang in there Sal.
