Laugh Most Interesting Neuro Body Accident?

Okay- I will swear that all walls, doors, stairs and any type or kind of stores do not like me. Shopping (used to be a fun adventure)- now has turned into a complete disaster. Isles turn the vertigo on and make shopping twice as long and severely unsafe. Then when I have to get into the car just to drive- one mile home- it actuallly seems like it is an hour drive home due to being so sick with the vertigo and sometimes the vision thing also will kick in. Yippy!

Here are my two accidents to share:

1) Fell over dog gate. Brain not quick enough to respond to hand/arm "put arm down to break fall for body". Ended up landing on rib cage flat out. Required visit to doctor. No breaks- badly bruised ribs that took all summer to heal.

2) Stupidly took garbage to dumpster. It was only 20 feet away. No big deal I thought. DH told me to stay and not do anything. I felt so bad but wanted to help put things away while we camped. Took the garbage to the dumpster. Vertigo bad that day. Walking- very unbalanced and uncoordinated. Vision bad as well. Tripped over own feet, tripped over cement curb and then landed on feet, fell on hand and cut open thumb so bad it took a huge chunk of skin out of it. Wasn't able to put any weight on foot. It swelled and bruised instantly. We were worried that was broke. Luckily the x-ray came back clear but it was sprained and had to stay off of it and ice it for two weeks. Not much fun. However, a really good laugh though.
