Default I can feel a new symptom starting tonight. :(

I'm worried I'm going to wake up with a numb neck and head tomorrow. I felt this feeling last winter on my right side. It started out with the tingling numb feeling and ended up being pretty painful and annoying. Lasted a month or two. Tonight I'm feeling the tingling numb feeling creeping up the left side of my neck. (this is new! never felt that before on the left side) I'm also feeling a strange sensation in my left ear. (been there, done that on the right ear)

I'm not happy. It's just been in the last 4 or 5 hours that I've noticed this symptom coming on. It's been awhile since I felt a symptom creep up on me like this. Usually it happens when I'm asleep and I wake up with a ton of weirdness.

It's making my hair feel weird.

I went to the eye doctor at 8am (right when they opened) on friday because I had blurred vision and ginormous floater in my right eye, and flashes of light. Eye doctor was worried that I had a retinal tear, but I didnt have any pain, and he said that my retina looked great and my optic nerve looked fine...so he thinks I might be about to have some vision weirdness from the MS. (the flashes of light are a symptom for ON) Told me to call him if anything goes wonky with the vision. Told me to use eye drops to see if the floaters go away.

It's about time for a new little flare. I've been getting a new flare about every 2 months since April. It's probably been all one big flare, but seems to change every two months. Last time I had any new weirdness happen was in late September. Now I've got new weird numbness and I'm getting some new spasticity. (owwwww!!!) and I've been off balance or dizzy a bunch the last couple of weeks.

Why does MS have to be irritating and do it's funky stuff at inconvenient times?

At least I've got my brand new bathroom finished with FIVE grab bars (3 in the shower, two outside the shower) and it's more handicap friendly for getting in and out. I love my new shower! Not as worried that I'm going to fall down getting out of the shower anymore. Love the grab bars!!

and we got my mom's bathroom redone so it matches mine and isnt a mold farm anymore. (her bathroom was remodeled 6yrs ago and the guy who did that had no talent and was a moron. They used the wrong kind of screws on her old grab bars. One of the screws was almost rusted thru.)

I just have to find out from the contractor why the shower door isnt the one we picked out. (the glass was supposed to be the same as mine)

I just have to go buy shower stools for my mom and me. Her old shower stool is all beat up, and I decided that I want one since I used her old beat up one when I had to use her shower while mine was being remodeled first.

I hope when I get up in the morning (in about four hours...contractors coming, we get new carpet!) that I wont have any nastier stuff going on with the stuff I'm noticing tonight.
